We’ve already ranked the Lenovo Yoga slim seven as one of our top laptops in 2022. We also awarded it the award of most affordable laptop. And this time, the price has been reduced by an impressive PS250.
Before the price reduction, we thought it was a great deal for its price, which is PS850. But, now Amazon has cut that price down by 29 percent (PS599.99, Amazon.co.uk), which makes it an affordable price.
The laptop is slim with a 13.3-inch display and just 1.38cm thick. Laptop (the reason for the name is in the title) which can be easily slipped into your bag without taking up the space. With a weight of 1.2kg, it’s pretty light, meaning it isn’t a hassle to carry all day.
We tested this Lenovo Yoga slim 7 in 2022, and our tester stated that it’s “a top-quality Windows ultrabook that costs lower than a premium. A straightforward and easy-to-use laptop, it conceals an impressive amount of power in its plain design.”
They said: “Powered by a zippy Ryzen processor…Lenovo’s machine is a perfect blend of performance and solid build quality, with a battery that can last throughout the day. It’s a great alternative for hybrid working. Yoga small 7 seems as practical as it is strong.”
The battery life that our reviewer talked about is a staggering 15 hours. The laptop also has a Full HD display and speakers with Dolby Atmos capability.
Its eight-core Ryzen 7 processor is clocked up to 1.9GHz and has 8GB of ram and a storage capacity of 512GB in solid-state.
The Yoga slim 7 runs on the Windows 10 operating system, the Yoga slim 7 is completed in a color Lenovo describes as “iron grey” (and which we refer to as grey) …). Around its slim edges are three USB-C ports to connect all kinds of external devices to webcams and monitors.
Despite its cost and the small capacity of RAM, The Lenovo has impressed our reviewer regarding performance. They stated: “This budget-friendly ultrabook is comparable to laptops priced a few hundred pounds more. It also keeps pace with the similarly equipped Dell XPS 13 without bruising your wallet to the point of being too expensive.
“For everyday business use, this means whip-fast loading times and juggling dozens of browser tabs without lag, but Lenovo’s laptop is capable of more heavy-duty tasks too.”
